Foundation Repairs

Residential ResQ and Steve, specifically, were awesome to work with. I got a bonkers quote and ultimately bad information from a big name competitor and I called Steve to ask a few questions. He knew exactly what my crawlspace needed and completed the job way past my expectation for a very fair price. Steve and his team were professional, reliable, kind and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to explain everything clearly so I understood the entire scope of the job. I'll be calling them again for other repairs that will come up in this old house!

Steve and his talented team recently pinned and jacked my chimney as it had pulled away from the house. Steve consulted with me on the phone prior to his site visit. Steve then came to my house , provided a quote that was less than an estimate he gave me on the phone! He set up a date that was a reasonable 2 weeks out and actually showed up on that date! Unusual with ANY contractor these days! Steve performed the jacking operation, repaired the site work, including pouring a partial patio section he had to excavate all within the same day. Chimney is plumb and level to perfection. I would highly recommend RRQ and Steve.

We had 16 push piers installed to correct our sinking/sliding garage slab and foundation (poor design and decades of bad water management). Steve explained his process, provided a complete estimate and drawings at our first meeting. His design was later signed off by a PE and delivered to our town during permitting -all handled by Steve. RRQ was on-site Monday through Saturday and completed the job including removing a load of old landscape timbers for a small extra charge. This crew did a huge amount of work digging, placing brackets and driving piers. The lifting of one whole side of the structure went as expected. Steve was clear that walls would likely be impacted & my new wood floor would likely buckle - thankfully that did not happen ! We are now stable and fully supported on piers ... we do have some landscaping and cosmetic repairs to do but that was clear up front. Overall, an amazing process, done professionally by a guy who knows what he talking about and at a fair price. Highly recommended

Residential ResQ saved my home from crumbling down. Steve was very knowledgeable about the whole process. He replaced a beam that was cracked and jack posts that were not permanent jacks. i am grateful for his service, i would definitely use him in the future, i highly recommend him for any foundation repairs you may need.

For years, my mother in law experienced cracks/gaps in her ceiling, and noticed that her floor started to pitch. Steve from Residential ResQ came over and immediately diagnosed the problem. Her house was sinking! She found Steve to be extremely knowledgeable, hardworking, and very pleasant. His explanations and proposal were clear and comprehensive. He started (and finished) on time, and he followed up at the end of the job to be sure she was satisfied. Most important, there were some unexpected challenges with her lot (another foundation buried beneath her home, unknown to her), that he dealt with professionally and efficiently. The piers holding the back of our vacation home were cracked and sinking and we were looking at both a structural and safety disaster. Steve did an accurate and thorough job “diagnosing” our problem, gave us a timely and detailed estimate of the purposed work to be done providing answers to all our questions. He and his team started the work when they said they would, kept us informed along the way and did a great job reconstructing our foundation. I would highly recommend Steve and his team because of them we will hopefully enjoy our home for many more years!

Hatch way, Bulkhead whatever you call it Residential ResQ dug the old one out every piece of it and put a brand new one in. New floor, new walls, new steps, new basement door and new outer door. They really worked hard and completed this task in 3 days. They are very professional and they kept the work site picked up and safe. Thanks Steven and crew for a great job.

I had a great experience with this company! The quote was straightforward and clearly laid out and there weren't any unexpected additional costs that popped up. Steve also clearly explained what he was doing and why. Also, they didn't try to up-sell me on additional items/work I didn't need. Additionally, they cleaned up after they were done, so my basement looked great and I now have straighter floors and stairs! Strongly recommend!
